Told by Jemma.
Throughout my early pregnancy I kept up my singagrams and busking on the street.
And I’m working on a new waltz by Chopin, the Grand Valse Brilliante in Eb Major.
Phoenix: “What, we’re having another baby?”
“Uhhh, yeah did I not tell you that?”
I don’t mind our living room being run over by toddler toys. It makes it look lived in.
Since Spooky Day, Phoenix Jr. was obsessing about his bear costume hat and refused to take it off, even at night. I have to admit tho, it’s pretty darn cute.
“Hi, my little bear! You’re just the cutest thing! Yes you are!”
I love my little bear!
“Okay, say your name, Phoenix Junior.”
“Uhhh… okay try again. PHOENIX.”
“Hmmm okay this is not working. Phoeeeeeeeeeee-nix! Phoenix!”
Me: “Fe-fe?!! Yes that’s right, little bear, that will do! FEFE!”
“Okay, now say Phoebe.”
And that’s how Phoenix Junior became Fefe Bear. I just hope he doesn’t end up a bear like his daddy.
Yeah he’s a bit backwards, but he still managed to master the instrument!
The obligatory potty face! “Fefe Bear, how you doin’ there?”
“Fe-fe poo!!” *giggle*
Phoenix: “Why are they always crying?”
“Duh! Because they’re babies! What do ya expect?!”
Phoenix: “I expected them not to wail so much.”
“But how can you not forgive this adorable face for wailing? She was only wailing for her daddy, I bet.”
Yeah, Phoenix was a bit slow to master the caring for his babies, but he’s doing alright now. He loves them, that’s for sure.
Jovanna on the other hand, was having a bit of a tough time. Ya know, those teen hormones and frustration times.
One morning she was so upset that she went out and kicked the pink flamingo over, for no real reason.
So since it was Saturday I suggested we take a little walk with one of the babies up to the park at the top of the street. I could see some kids there and thought maybe Jovi just needed some more friends.
The little girl was Remy Cooper’s grandaughter, Gwen. Okay so she was a lot younger than Jovi, but you know how they suddenly shoot up one day with their growth spurts – who knows, they could be friends.
Gwen: “Hey. You’re pretty.”
They seemed to be getting along so I left them alone to chat.
She also found Tom Rider. A little cutie, he is still a kid but closer to her age.
I played with Fefe Bear, who surprisingly agreed to take off the bear hat.
Did you know he had all that beautiful blue hair under there?!
“Fefe wa’n git down. DOWN!”
“Fefe w’an go poo-poo.”
“Ugh. Seriously Fefe?”
“Do you still need to go?”
“Did you do it in your diaper?”
